The Chalet accommodates up to 6 people.
Ground Floor
Three double bedrooms each containing 2 single beds with down duvets.
Bathroom with bath, large outside terrace with sliding doors.
First Floor
Entrance leading to living room with open fire, satellite tv. Kitchen with wood burning stove.
Bathroom with shower. A balcony runs the whole length of the west and south facing sides.
The whole Chalet is electrically central heated.
A garage is also available for use.
No smoking.
The chalet is situated in Täsch, a splendid base for a summer or winter break.
Zermatt, Europes uncrowned capital of wintersport is not accessible by private transport.
Täsch is the last village accessible by car in the Matterhorntal.
The chalet lies close to the station where the mountain railway to Zermatt departs from.
The train connection to Zermatt runs three times per hour and takes 10 minutes. It is very reliable and the lovely heated train brings you to the mountaintops.
Snow is guaranteed and skiing up to 3899m, in the summer it is a walkers paradise, the famous Europa pas Grächen – Zermatt straddles the Täscheralp.

Route
Basel - Bern A1 from here there are 2 possibilities:
1. Thun en Kandersteg. Here you take the car shuttle to Goppenstein (this runs every half hour – and continuously on busy days). In Goppenheim take the turning Visp – Zermatt.
2. Montreux –Martigny – Visp-Zermatt. You come directly to Täsch.
You carry along almost to the end of the village then turn left before you come to the stream.
You will then see the chalets on the hillside. Take the narrow road along the stream until you reach 7 garages.
In the winter you may find it necessary, for this last part to have snow chains.
The middle garage is ours. Take the last stairs on the right of the postboxes leading to the chalet as you look from below WEISSHORN is the 3rd chalet on the right.
In the summer you are able to ride further up. Fifty metres after the bend there is a footpath, this leads down to the left where you come to the chalet below. To unload you may leave the car on the path and there is parking up higher where there is hardly ever any traffic.
